This site was built specifically to demonstrate one of my WordPress themes in action. As a consequence, it was neglected from the moment it had sufficient content to do the job and has not been added to since August 30 2009 <*blush*>, even though it would take all of ten minutes to do.

Bewildered searchers finding the site occupying slots two and three of the Google SERPs for the term ‘Current PLR’ discover just seven posts gathering dust, although the site has rather astonishingly managed to see thirty dollars worth of sales since it was established. I imagine it would do well for someone actually willing to spend some time adding content to it, and even better if a little time was spent on promotion.

The site gets around 300 unique visitors a month, much of that no doubt from users looking to see the theme features although a proportion of visitors actually do find the site via the search engines. Direct requests or type-ins account for around 25% of the site’s traffic, and it’s recently been receiving a small stream of visitors from the Digital Point forum after a member of the community asked where he could get a similar header image to the site’s made up for him.

As already mentioned, the theme is a commercial one of which I’m the creator, so you can rest assured that I have the fullest of developer licenses and more than adequate rights to offer it for sale. The .psd file for the header which sparked the Digital Point enquiry is also included.

The site’s sales and downloads are currently handled by paid script DownloadGuard, but preliminary investigations show that free WordPress plugin eShop should be up to the job if necessary. Simple PayPal buttons will also suffice, although download security will be less robust.
