Devoted to what else other than modern floor lamps, this site has managed to make a handful of sales despite being almost totally ignored by me. Up until a week ago it wore a tan and beige design that was probably the height of fashion – in the mid-seventies. I have no idea what I was thinking here, yet in the three months or so since it was created the site has made just over twenty dollars in total (from a dozen assorted Amazon sales and around the same amount of Adsense clicks), from an average of just fifty unique visitors a month. Even more astonishing is that it did this without a single post having been made since mid-October. No prizes for guessing who’d forgotten to install the new auto-blogging plugin…

Last week this was remedied with the installation of top WordPress auto-blogging plugin WP-Robot, for which I have a developer’s licence. As usual, the theme is one of my own which I sell commercially. It’s a theme which generally does well for the sites it’s used on (I wouldn’t sell it otherwise) and so it was left in place but configured with a fresh new look that’s more reminiscent of this century than the last one. Since then, it’s made another Amazon sale and another dollar in Adsense earnings.
