Registered on 22 March 2009, this domain was dusted off three weeks ago and a site put on it to demonstrate one of my themes which I sell commercially. Consequently any traffic figures would be misleading as most visitors arrive to view the theme in action rather than to purchase a domain – I haven’t promoted the site to these buyers at all – and this is reflected in the fact that the site has yet to bring in revenue, much as you’d expect from a three week old site in a competitive niche with no promotion.
The front page of the site shows eBay auctions supplied by the phpbay plugin, and article content and Amazon book listings on the subject of domaining are provided by top WordPress autoblogging plugin WP-Robot. It’s only as I write this that I realise I’d forgotten to include category navigation in the sidebar, thus obstructing access to the articles to every visitor unless they’d actually landed on the site via one. This has been rectified now and I’d expect the site to see a few more page views, but you can see proof of this blindingly dim oversight in the screenshot on the left…

The eBay and Amazon products which provide the site’s monetization are supplemented by Adsense in the sidebars.
